Selvatura Natural Museums

Overview

Selvatura is an ecological park concerned with environmental conservation and which also completes constant studies of the ecosystem of the region. This allows them to posses important collections filled with a variety of species from Costa Rica and around the world, which visitors can spend hours enjoying.

Some of the attractions you can enjoy include: the Insect Museum (the third largest private collection in the world), Butterfly Garden (with an area of 2,700 m2 and more than 50 different species), Reptile and Amphibian Exhibition (over 30 species) and the Hummingbird Garden (more than 100 birds of 14 different species).

In each of the museums, naturalist guides will await you, ready to accompany you with interesting information and to answer your questions.
