Selvatura Hanging Bridges

Overview

The Selvatura Hanging Bridges are an excellent option for observing the beautiful flora and fauna of the Monteverde Cloud Forest. The 3 kilometer journey will take you across bridges hanging in the tree canopy, at heights that range from 12 to 60 meters. In addition, the bridge have varying lengths from 50 to 150 meters.

It is important to note that each of the Selvatura bridges is 5 feet (1.5 m) wide, which allows for a maximum capacity of 80 people. This is the longest and strongest hanging bridge system available in Monteverde.

This activity is apt for children to senior citizens, and usually takes between 1.5 and 2 hours, depending on the pace of each visitor.
