Monteverde Night Walk Tour

Overview

During this night hike through Monteverde's Cloud Forest, you will have the opportunity to observe a large variety of wildlife. Sunset is the perfect moment to hear all of the sounds of nature.

Diurnal animals take refuge for the night and the nocturnal animals begin their activity. This may be a completely new experience, since at night the forest is filled with species very different than those you can observe during daylight. Some of the most common animals in the evening are tarantulas, silver fox, frogs, coatimundi, a variety of insects, and some sleeping birds.

Along the way, the local naturalist guide will explain about different ways of life which will help you appreciate the fascinating creatures which inhabit the forest after night falls, allowing you to discover a whole new facet of animal life in Costa Rica.
