Hidden Valley Night Tour

The night tour in the cloud forest of Monteverde is a great opportunity to know about the diversity of animals that remain hidden during the day.

The walk starts around 5:30pm at the Hidden Valley offices, name given by its owner and founder David Savage, the one which years ago he had acquired 11 hectares dedicated to farming, and then together with his family the decided to protect it, transforming it into an ecotourism project in charge of the conservation of flora an fauna, as well as the preservation of the ecosystem.

During the tour it is easy to appreciate the different species of animals that appear before nightfall, as for example gray foxes, bats, raccoons, agouties, olingos, tarantulas and a variety of small insects.

The naturalist guides will explain you during your trip the different forms of life and they will also help you to appreciate the fascinating creatures that inhabit in the forest at nights, allowing you to know a different facet of the animal life in Costa Rica.
