We were so pleased with the personal care taken at this hotel. We were the only occupants at the time and were given the run of the place. The ower was prepared to cook our choice of several dishes for each meal and all the food was great. I really enjoyed being somewhat remote and I doubt you can find a better view of Arenal volcano. The place may need some attention but our rooms were comfortable, the water hot, and the door locked (my specs always.) I always prefer the more local atmosphere of hotels rather than the sterility of chains, etc. so Vista Verde fit the bill.

Bottom line:

Yes, I would recommend it to a friend
